Didsbury's
17th Annual "Show & Shine" – 2009

Saturday, May 9th, saw the 17th Annual Didsbury "Show & Shine" being presented in Beautiful Downtown Didsbury. This show has become one of the more enjoyable events for some of the Calgary members, and 2009 was no exception. Due to "questionable" weather conditions, though, there were only two AMCA vehicles in the show, and a total of three members registered.

Those three members were:–

  • Pat Potter, with his 1970 "Mark Donohue" Javelin
  • Larry Chapple, who showed his 1967 American 440
  • Stan Barlow, complete with the now–famous "Doolie", his 1940 Ford custom pick-up.

Other members of the Club that didn't have vehicles entered were Russ Tessier ( and his kids ) from Calgary, and Ray Punter of Didsbury.
